This massage is regarded as clinical as it aids in the free flow of lymphatic fluids. These fluids are used to cleanse our bodies of impurities and assist with our bodies immune system. This is an excellent treatment for those with edema due to surgery, hypertension, or circulatory problems. This is a detoxifying treatment and does not deal directly with muscles. ½ hour herbal detox wrap is an excellent addition to this treatment.
LaStone Therapy 1 ¼ hr $80
Native American Indians used stones in their healing rituals. In a similar manner naturally smooth river stones, harvested by your therapist,are warmed for you to lay on and be massaged by. The integration of cold and warm stones makes also a therapeutic treatment which aides greatly in the relief of chronic pain and stress.
Craniosacral 1 hr $65
Craniosacral therapy, developed by William G.Sutherland, DO in the early 1900s, is a hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the function of the craniosacral system. Cranio is the Latin work referring to the head, and sacral relates to the spine and tailbone. Cranisacral therapy uses very gentle, manual pressure applied to the skull, spine, and membranes to restore a proper flow to the craiosacral system which helps to relieve pain. By feeling the craniosacral rhythm, the therapist can diagnose problems that may exist in the craniosacral system. This is a great modality for those with headaches, neck and back problems.

his Treatment is specially formulated for your body’s needs at the time of the massage. All forms of massage are incorporated from deep tissue to Reiki and craniosacral. Warm and cool stones are used as well as aromatherapy.

Using pregnancy pillow” which allows the client to lie on her stomach until very late in the pregnancy, allowing extensive back work.

This treatment is a unique combination of yoga and Shiatsu. the client is asked to wear loose, comfortable clothing. The therapist works directly on the massage table with the client doing a full range of body stretches. This is a great treatment for those suffering with backpain.
Watsu Water Therapy 1 hour $95
Watsu is done at a private pool in Cottonwood. This treatment combines stretching, Shiatsu point massage and subtle energy work to relax muscles and release stress. The water temperature in the pool is 98.6 degrees. Warm water’s therapeutic benefits, and its freeing of movement, make it an ideal medium for passive stretching. The support water provides takes weight off the vertebrae and allows the spine to be moved in ways impossible on land. Gentle, gradual twists and pulls relieve the pressure a rigid spine places on nerves and helps undo any dysfunction this pressure causes to organs serviced by those nerves.
